A bagpiper at your wedding isn't decoration. It's the moment every photograph captures and every guest remembers decades later. I've performed at hundreds of weddings across Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland — from intimate backyard ceremonies to grand hotel ballrooms.
I play as your guests arrive. I play as the bridal party walks. I can play as you exit — sending you off in a way that stops traffic on the street outside. Every performance is tailored to your ceremony and delivered with 55+ years of experience behind it.
I play traditional Highland pieces — Amazing Grace, Scotland the Brave, Highland Cathedral — and I'm happy to discuss your preferences when you get in touch. If you have a specific piece in mind, ask me.
What to Expect on the Day

- ▸I play for the recessional, sending you off as husband and wife.
- ▸I coordinate directly with your venue or wedding planner so you don't have to think about logistics.
- ▸Additional time and pieces available on request — just ask when you enquire.
Common Questions
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for summer weddings. June–September books up quickly. That said, I'm often able to accommodate shorter notice — get in touch and I'll tell you what's available.
Do you play indoor and outdoor ceremonies?
Yes. I've played in hotel ballrooms, backyard gardens, beaches, church courtyards, and parks across the Lower Mainland. Outdoors is no problem — I'll discuss the specifics of your venue when you enquire.
Can I request a specific piece?
Absolutely. My repertoire spans 500+ pieces. If you have something specific in mind, tell me when you enquire. If it's a piece I don't currently know, I'll let you know — but that's rare.
